You may pressure yourself and make yourself do a lot of things and not give yourself any rest. However, that is not a good thing. Just because you are achieving great things, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be giving yourself rewards and allowing yourself to rest and have a day off. Rewarding doesn’t mean object materials. They can simply be a day where you just rest at home and read a great book while drinking tea, relaxed and comfy. On the other hand, too much rewarding and giving yourself anything you want is also very bad. By doing that, you are becoming less and less hard working and are just too focused on the rewards.
Many people do not understand that it is crucial to reward yourself. By rewarding yourself, you are congratulating yourself on the hard work you have done throughout a certain course of time. Your brain and mind will be happy with the results and will in turn want to work even harder after. Rewarding yourself is like giving yourself an encouraging boost to be even better. If you are just continuously working non stop, you will eventually get super exhausted and give up. By allowing yourself to have breaks and rewards, it acts as a small vacation for your brain and allows you to rest and regenerate even more energy. It is like charging yourself.
